Company Overview

Accountants for Tomorrow (AFT) was established in 2015 in the Kempton Park area of Johannesburg South Africa in response to the transition by the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants (CIMA) to the Online Examination System. This transition included the introduction of the Objective Tests (OTs) and online Case Study Exams under the 2015 Syllabus, replacing the previous 2010 Syllabus

Our Origins and Story

Its Founder, Patrick Pfidze, was then finishing the CIMA Strategic Level. He, therefore, completed his CIMA studies under the new dispensation. He experienced the above rigours of the new order head-on.

After attending classes for the first quarter of 2015, the founder noticed some key shortcomings in the system which was being adopted in course delivery generally and he henceforth sought to fill those gaps up himself. With that zest and drive to assist students to better navigate the new terrain, AFT was conceived. AFT has assisted numerous students in South Africa and over seas using their popular One-on-One-tailor-made course delivery methodology.

More About AFT

Accountants for Tomorrow Holding your hand to Accounting success

We realise how demanding and rigorous the CIMA programme is, and we are totally committed to literally hold our students by the hand in helping them to master the subject matter and OT exam fundamentals to assure success in their exams. When you hit at what would normally seem like a concrete wall with any of the CIMA subjects, and you don’t know where else to turn, what else to do, please look no further than us! We will help you develop the tenacity and rigidity you need to succeed in these tough studies. Trust me we have successfully done so over the past decade!

At Accountants for Tomorrow, we make it our top priority that we are sufficiently prepared to address and articulate further syllabus changes and enhancements by using latest techniques and systems in the development of our subject tutors/lecturers. We also use contemporary course delivery methods in line with modern technological developments, allowing our team to drive down the subject matter to levels required by CIMA; rigorous enough to contribute meaningfully to the training and growth of the future Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). We remain absolutely committed to playing a key role in driving this critical agenda, in the business landscape where the role of the finance function is undergoing rapid shifts.

Social responsibility

At AFT, we are committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that positively impact our communities and contribute to social equity and empowerment. Our CSR efforts include:

  • Educational Empowerment: AFT provides free tuition to underprivileged individuals, offering them access to quality education and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond our core business operations and fostering a more inclusive and prosperous society.

  • Tailor made to suit our students’ capabilities
  • Comprehensive coverage of underpinning theory
  • Intensive question practice to hone gained skills and competences
